It's been awhile since I've posted any updates on Booker Tee and Zoe Zee. We've had a great year competing in Agility, Racing, Coursing, Obedience, and Rally. Both have earned many new titles, but through our adventures we've learned what they love to do and what they could live without.
Booker is my agility maniac. Long gone are our days of him running around an agility course with total zoomies. We've even worked through our major teeter issues. This is definitely "our" sport. I have to encourage anyone who has ever thought about it to give it a chance. Not only do we have fun together, but the support you get from the agility friends you make is amazing. Here is one of our most recent runs.

Zoe Zee has had another year of good progress. I learned early last winter that she does not love Rally and we have retired from there for awhile until our confidence is better. I started training Zoe in agility about 2 years ago, and in August, I decided to enter her in trials. Her journey has been so much easier than it was with Booker. It took Booker and I 1 year to complete the level 1 title in CPE and it took Zoe 3 months. But she's still nervous. Sometimes I see her shut down and it still breaks my heart. She loves agility, but there are times, that she loses confidence in herself. What Zoe loves is coursing. As soon as she hears that bunny she becomes someone else and just loses her mind. It is pretty funny to see her so enthusiastic about it. I know she is disappointed that coursing season is over here. I just got a new videocamera so I can't wait to get a few of her runs on camera next year. For now here is one of her agility runs. She's just such a good girl.

So it's been a great year. I love spending the weekends with my pups working on different activities together. Success is always fun, but I'm just so happy with the effort.

I love watching your videos! Thank you for sharing! Congrats Booker and Zoe! They are precious, and watching Iggie's in agility makes me smile too. I can see the enthusiasm in Booker, and the shyness in Zoe. Too cute! I only wish I had been able to do it with Pippin, but he's 7 now, and with the metal plate in his leg and the entire lack of time and no nearby agility club, well, it hasn't been a difficult decision to not do it.
