Ebony We have a little visitor!

Ebony is with us for another week. We got her from the Humane Society Wednesday afternoon right after her spay. She is very little and looks like a puppy to us, but she's really around 5 I think. We had to take her to the vet this morning because she started having symptoms of Kennel Cough, and it turns our her spay incision is infected as well, poor baby! Her teeth are also in awful condition, with many missing already, and more will have to come out soon. Despite all this she is in very good spirits, and her tail is constantly wagging. Can't wait to see what she's like when she feels better!! She's very playful, but also very quiet...I haven't heard her bark once yet, and she tends to keep to herself instead of hanging out with the other IGs here. I guess that's good since we discovered she's got the Kennel Cough. She's probably pretty bored as I have tried to keep her isolated from the others so there's no spreading; Izzy has been vaccinated against it, but better safe than sorry....

oh my goodness, she just has the sweetest eyes! i think this is one that i get to meet next week when helping with transport! thanks for taking her in for the week!!

Yep, you'll see her in person. Today she's feeling better, and it turns out she is SUPER playful. She will chase a little ball and bring it back for you to throw again. She seems very puppy-like to me. The biggest issue is she doesn't seem to be housetrained at all so I've been doing massive ammounts of cleanup. Posted Image

Okay, she was pretty much the cutest thing I have ever seen!! I didn't want to hand her over to her foster mom. :)

She is super cute! And her attitude is just as cute! I bet when she gets a little bit more house training, somebody's gonna snatch her right up!
