Hi everyone,
i just wondered if anyone could offer me a bit of advice!
i have been thinking about owning an Italian Greyhound (i have owned no dogs before) and just wanted to know if they make good first time pets?
i have suffered from M.E/CFS for 6 years now and some days i dont have the most energy but i do have a big garden and i can walk for 30-45 minutes a day-is this sufficent for an IG?

I don't want to steer you away from the breed, but they can be tough for a first time dog owner. They also do require a lot of exercise, both mental and physical, to avoid unpleasant behavior. If they are not involved multiple times a day, they can and will get into trouble. Someone just recently wrote in asking a similar question to yours if you'd like to view the link at New Member. It might help you to understand the breed better.

Hi! I would suggest contacting your local rescue rep or checking out www.italiangreyhound.org to find out more information on the breed. A puppy is a handful!!
