On June 30 we were approved as a foster family for IG Rescue of So TX. On July 1 Quincy came to stay until she finds a much deserved forever home. Here is her story.

I am Miss Quincy, a teeny tiny red fawn lady - 10 lbs and 10 years old. I will be ready for my forever home as soon as I am spayed - any day now! I spent the last three years with an elderly lady who sadly is no longer with me. We were the loves of each others lives, and constantly together. When my owner was no longer able to care for me, I went through a rough patch with different caregivers and even found myself alone on the street for a short time. Thankfully that part of my life is over with. I am still adjusting to the changes in my life (such as where to go potty and where not to) but quiet love and attention make all the difference.
Prior to this period, I may have been a show dog. I love to pose with my tail tucked between my legs, looking fetching and ladylike.
I have lost all but 3 of my teeth, but that doesn't stop me from having a healthy appetite. Plus it gives me that endearing "tongue out of the side of the mouth" look.
I get along with other dogs but I would also make an excellent only child. I am crate trained, quiet and low key. All I want at this time in my life is someone to snuggle with and no more changes. I am ready for another love of my life.

Awww, what a sweet girl. So sad that she lost her human, but I hope she finds a new forever family soon!
