If you are concerned, it is always good to check with the vet and make sure there are no health concerns. If that is okay, the common toys and games a lot of us use include small stuffed squeakies and treat filled kongs. Because they are sighthounds, they love to chase small objects flying close to the ground! Abby has an amazing collection of these items, which she will bring to me to throw for her while I am typing. A few are "higher" value toys to her than others and almost always get her attention. A lot of members use small kongs...rubber containers with an open end, filled with peanut butter or small snack items that they have to manipulate to get the goodies. Along that line, as well, there are toys with small stuffed squeakies inside a soft "mama" container that the IG has to figure out how to get out. Abby has one that is a cube with little round squeakies in it that she loves. She has another that's a fish with squeakie eggs. And, of course, her favorite pastime is sleeping in the sun. Our iggy, Spirit, enjoys the same things abbysmom talked about; she hit the nail right on the head!! We also got Spirit a tent like tunnel (like an agility tunnel) that she loves to play in and run through. To keep her occupied we'll put treats in when she's not paying attention, so she has surprises to find later! After play time though, Spirit is ready to zonk out for a while; all she needs is a lap to sleep in :)

I play hide and seek with the girls. This is great exercize for them during the winter especially.
I put them in a sit - stay and hide. then I call "Come Find Me" and the fun begins! I always have treats to pass out when I am found. them I put them in the sit-=stay again and the game goes on. It is fun to hide places where you can watch the search. They look under furniture, out windows and in cat condoes.
One added benefit is - Come Find Me is now their recall! Annie scooted out of her harnes and I was terrified. I sat down and yelled Come Find Me as if we were playing and she ran right over and jumped in my lap!
